stream for yourself and never for others... play what you enjoy and eventually people will find you... I stream 4 hours 3 days a week and sometimes even more. never regret it... I've stuck with it for a while and I've been blessed with some viewers... still streaming to 0 viewers most of the times but when my buddies do show up it makes it so awesome and special

I started in December with 200 followers and grew now almost to 1k! The most important thing is consistently as long as you don’t give up and keep pushing everything will fall into place

Streamed for 3 years ... sacrificing sleep, eating and family time. How long should one stream to no viewers before giving up? I did grow at the beggining but those were viewers who wanted something out of me and demand I did give aways because I "owed" them for being in my streams

I can back this. I’ve been doing YouTube for 5 years, I spent 3 years with no attention, nothing more than 50 views a video. Then, I changed communities to another game I loved, and was flooded with support, and got 1k-176k views a video. I stopped posting but then came back, and I’m growing again. Sometimes it’s the game or community you start in, you never know

I realize how old this video is but if you see this any insight would be great. ive been streaming for 6 years. 3 of it as a vtuber, and here recently I hit 1k followers on my twitch. I was so very happy I made it this far only to have someone say "so he's been streaming for how long and he JUST hit 1k?" and ngl that killed any bit of happiness i had for my good moment.
