“Zone nadir isn’t a myth” VRO IVE HAD THIS EXACT THOUGHT IN MY MIND FOR A WHILE. It’s fun being on zone nadir N all, but i feel like as a myth hunter it’s more of a roleplay + lore game, it’s not rlly a myth to me bc it lacks some stuff based off what i’ve seen from other myths I’ve played.. Correct me if I’m wrong but, myths are supposed to be places where you uncover the lore yourself, not that you have to wait for an event to happen with the myths there to have some lore.. the only other thing that i see that doesn’t need myths to be there are like the notes, but imo these rlly lack info on the lore somewhat..

i’ve played around with Zone Nadir— I feel you COMPLETELY, there’s like.. obviously some doors and encrypted notes and.. blah blah blah, but you’re locked to certain areas that lead you in circles unless some grand person joins and makes you watch a scene; it’s more roleplay than myth, or any exploring

upvote upvote, zone nadir is a glorified roleplay rather then a myth. although character interaction isn't as important as you make it out to be here, its simply a genre of mything. everything is important in mything, you can own a myth but have zero character interaction as long as your game itself shows the story, ciphers, codes etc and essentials of what being a myth is.

honestly main issue with nadir is that if you arent in the right timezone you just get to miss all the fillers and events PLUS that even if you try to interact with some of the higher ups/rangers whatever you either get completey ignored, blunt answers or they just look at go "eugh sureveyors gross" and leave since they just hate 95% of all sureveyors which is SOOOO fun

What you said felt true, then again I played for my 2 time, and I even saw myself quite a lot in your video. But man there’s nothing to do beside walking around. What ticked me off, I started rping as a nurse, and specifically made sure that I wasn’t staff just sharing my actual medical knowledge since I’m a nurse practitioner irl. But was reprimanded because I have to be staff to rp as a nurse? It says on their discord that you can be almost anything and even in the Q&A somebody asked a question about being a doctor, and they said it’s fine as long as your not trying to be staff? Does that mean I can only be it via clothing? Name plate? After I asked if could get medical check, was ignored and half the time the medical staff themselves are Larping to something else not even being the role that they are. Such a terrible experience, not to mention to even join said role you have to ask in game and find this specific person who might not even be in the area he should be or online. And don’t get me started on quality of larping. It is what it is tho I guess. Liked your vid tho 👍

Dude, this game literally LIED to myth HUNTERS, making us think it’s a myth game when it doesn’t even look like one at all. Don’t even get me started on the job application thing, like what are we doing here bro… 😭 Its not even an application to become a myth actor, it’s literally just for a job.

Honestly, I play ZN more to interact with the characters than to learn the lore. The events are very exciting and I LOVE the characters, but it doesn't exactly inspire you to do a lot of research or do actual myth hunting.

every code they did have could be solved in 10 minutes and there's nothing more to do but walk around and roleplay, I don't see any myth elements in this game and the mystery and the actual 'hunting' part of a myth is nowhere to be seen.

i agree with this heavily- Sure zone nadir is a pretty well made game but it's just, so hard..to catch up on all of the lore- like it happens out of no where. ( I am a big iris hq fan, it has the same vibes but is way more funnnn. its easy to know figure out the lore etc 🥹 )

I played it thinking it would be a fun myth but there really was.. nothing interesting, no secret messages, no actual story that joins altogether.. I was really disappointed to at the fact that it’s more of a roleplay game than myth, plus you usually have nothing to do except walk around and listen in to conversations. I’m really disappointed at the experience

older myths were so much better in my opinion. they were all more mysterious, and it actually felt like you were talking to the character/it didnt feel like roleplay. zone nadir is just random events and tons of roleplay. myth games back then didnt use tiktok, or discord servers or anything. i miss old myth games 😢

I've been following your account for a long while and I'm so glad you're expressing your thoughts about the game! I've played it with a friend because we were trying to get into myths but after a couple days I realized I've just been in the game waiting for hours for something to happen- and then just watch people/actors interact with eachother with like a 1% chance of being noticed along with so many others ;<;..

yeah, i agree! i used to be really into the myth community, but not so much now so i might get some things wrong. but for myths, i believe you have to uncover things yourself, not sit around and await for sessions (yes, they essentially host sessions) to see more lore. and while they do give us SOME lore to figure out (the notes), it's very mediocre. i wasn't really pleased with the categorization with this game, i think if it was branded for what it really was, it'd be better. but the mystery kind of gave itself away already in the announcements, archives, etc...

i joined yesterday and was genuinely clueless 😭 most ppl roleplayed and not alot of people talk about lore which confused me a lot 😭 i tried asking people directions and they just said "talk to the rangers" when theres like 300 people in 'ranger clothing'

As a myth I won't deny I was envious of Nadir at first until I realised that it just has cool scripts and that's all it has going for it the rest of it is pretty cookie cutter generic Days Union, Dystopia, Facility esque myths and there's nothing too special about it from what I've seen which sucks
