People are asking why officers shoot so many times? The true answer is protocol. Often you are to empty your entire magazine by police protocol. It is the principle to not stop firing, until there is no longer a threat to civilians or police. Seems like overkill right. Just explaining. It some scenarios in the past, officers would shoot, if needed, until they think it is over, only to have a suspect fire back or fire at another, so the police changed. Example. Rapper 50 cent got shot 9 times and is doing just fine and wasn't police. Fluke. Divine Miracle, whatever, but it happened, even completely unbelievable. Take care all.

If you're that scared, don't be a cop. But also, training is supposed to prepare officers for stressful situations, to de-escalate, not escalate. So if someone poses no immediate threat, repeated shots can look like a failure of judgment, and if the video is accurate, it deserves a full independent investigation.
