My daughter is graduating high school in May. This past weekend we went to visit her college where she’ll be going in August. It’s beautiful and I am so incredibly proud of her and excited for her future. She’s going for her BSN, she wants to spend her life taking care of others. I was feeling so proud and so happy and so filled with joy and then I caught myself wondering what the future is actually going to look like. Should I even be feeling hopeful and happy right now? There are so many children and so many parents living through pure hell right now. I feel so conflicted and guilty. Thank you for this. ❤️

I see your daffodils are up too. They are always some of the first signs of spring I look forward to. They are my sign to sweep off the outdoor chairs and start having my lunches in the sun outside when I can.
