It’s easy for people to say “then move” but if moving IS in the cards don’t forget small cities. My wife and I moved from the suburbs to a neighborhood in our small city and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Market, bakery, and restaurants in walking distance, and a bus will take use even more downtown in about 20 minutes. Urban life style without NY prices.
