@plants.and.garden: 🌱 Want a massive sweet potato harvest without digging up your entire yard? You have to try the soil bag method! It saves so much space and makes harvesting incredibly easy. 🍠 First, start by resting your sweet potatoes in a pot of warm soil until they grow tall, leafy green shoots. Once they are a few inches long, snip those shoots right off the mother potato and pop them into a glass of water. 💧 In just a week or two, they will grow strong white roots and be totally ready to plant. Here is where the magic happens! 🪴 Grab a large woven sack, fill it with loose, rich soil, and lay it flat on the ground. Cut a few small holes along the top of the bag and gently plant your rooted shoots directly inside. ☀️ Train the vines up a simple trellis or support line as they grow. When autumn rolls around, just slice the bag open for an unbelievable bounty of perfectly shaped sweet potatoes with absolutely zero heavy digging! #foryou
