everything is so much more expensive than I expected even though I did research. We wanted to replace our back windows but we could only afford to do two. Still got 1k to pay off on them and now we have a hole in the roof lol.

To be honest, I moved onto an actual money pit (chosen primarily for it's pet suitability and definitely not because I liked it or it being in a nice area or even having any potential to one day be nice) and I had no savings once I'd moved in. But it's better than the streets. Most of the time 😂
