this has been one big piece of advice I give to either parents leaving their coparent or people getting divorced. Pics, evidence, and documentation is always your friend. you may never need it, oh well then what have you lost? a few minutes?

Honestly after the Altadena and Palisades fires last year, an annual photo collection of everything is just a smart thing to do. My friends who lost everything still think of new things that were lost.
