Clean the filter! Mine was literally doing the same thing a week ago. Cleaned the filter in the sink, let it air dry until it was dry and good as new!

vacuum stopping usually means overheating. There are multiple filters inside it so you should look it up online under the model and brand. usually there's a video because it has happened to other people before you.
