Went on accutane in 2023 (best decision ever) but I was only on it for 2 months (worst decision ever😂) l'm having breakouts again so I'm going on it this time I'll stick with it for the full 6month ride.

Try using Lanolin on your lips, it stays much longer than aquaphor. It was a game changer for me

30mg is lowkey a pretty moderate dose lol i think i started on 20 😭 glad to hear it’s going smooth so far though!! id say things really started to get uncomfy for my about a month in. just keep up with that aquaphor!

Use Dr. Dan’s cortibalm for your lips! I’m up to 80 mgs and it’s really helped. You can order it on Amazon or get it at any store.

I was on contract in Jupiter in the summer when I was on accutane and girrrrl the sun is no joke there. I recommend not even exposing your skin at all if you can avoid it! They dose escalated me to get me to 1mg/kg I believe was the goal and mannn does it hit heavy. Best thing I ever did for myself tho ✨

Baby i was on like 50 twice daily 😭 but yes the dryness is insane for awhile maybe like 3ish months. Lots of sunscreen omg and aquaphor I put it on like moisturizer I’ve been off it since July and still use aqua. Also be aware apparently it has psych affects but i did mine in summer once the first three months is good then it’ll chill out my dryness stopped after awhile and I barely had symptoms. I don’t feel like it did anything to my nose tub aqua or the squeezable one hehe

My derm told me to skip it days that I plan to drink. It’s so hard on your liver! And never take it on an empty stomach.

My daughter had severe cystic acne. We were so worried it was going to scar her face. It did a little bit, but we got her on Accutane after her first baby was born. She had to be very careful not to get pregnant. Her husband had to protect himself, and she had two forms of protection for her because we know that it will completely deform a baby instantly they know that you cannot get pregnant while on it. Her face now about 10 years after is amazing she has went ahead and had laser to help with the scarring. She’s an influencer and is absolutely beautiful. She sells mid scale purses like coach and things like that or I should say influences bags that’s her thing. Accutane is great when you need it. It’s dangerous. I really worried about the side effects and if she would happen to get pregnant, just crazily but overall she’s glad she did it and she was talking about possibly restarting it because she’s starting to break out a little bit. It’s been 10 years so hormones change so let’s hope she doesn’t need it again.
