I started at 1.5 months. she just wouldn't get full with the formula/ breat milk by itself. I started off with the tip of the spoon and slowly graduated to half a spoon. now she eats 4 ounces every 4 hrs with a little cereal. even if doctor told me no

Either 2-3 weeks old my daughters dr told me give her half a teaspoon to help her spitting up turns out she had acid reflux 😅

Haven’t and I won’t. His doctor told me absolutely no rice/oatmeal in bottles- bc of choking hazards, babies are meant to feed often, their tiny stomachs can only hold a certain amount of food.

I said I’d give him my baby rice oatmeal at two months. The water milk was not enough for her. No more she was crying a lot not taking a long sleep, but as soon as we started giving her cereal, she started sleeping a lot and the crying stop.

I started at 3 months because it just seem like she wasn’t getting full off of bottles without cereal. But she loved eat and she grew a lot but do what you think is best for your baby🫶🏾

For my granddaughter it was at 2 months due to reflux. She has it in every bottle. She is on soft purées. Eats those and a lil cereal mixed in. I make my own purées and freeze them in ice trays. Makes it easier for spoon feeding and/or silicone paci feeder.
