I always have this when I play as assassins. I don't know, but maybe the "Death Grip" perk helps me? Sorry if the name is wrong, I don't know what it's called in English.

Yeahh when dis happens it’s really the dumb as game fault basically your like 0.5 seconds to early 😭and it’ll either do that bs OR THE SAVE ANIMATION GETS DELAYED BUT ACTIVATED (Happened to me once with a flashlight and once with a Pallet)🤦♂️still luv dbd tho smh

Certain add ons can affect the timing but in this instance you did it way too early, with Vecna he’s got the same timing as Spring trap

i Don't really know how to explain it, but timing matters with the basic killers on the secont pickup, not so much with these ones.

A pro tip,dont guide for the flash animation,sometimes u flash it too early that dont save,guide for the animation of the safe,so dont stop to aim until u see ur teammate saves,no matter if u do too early,if u still aim the flash eventually killer drop the survi
