Yall could buy a direct drive wheel and handbrake and gear shifter and pedals and learn on assetto corsa, it’s not %100 the same OBVIOUSLY but it does help smoothly shift from sim drifting to real life drifting as the techniques and stuff are very similar. Just expect to be not as good in real life as you are on the sim 😂 sim is easier but still takes months learning to just become mid

I suggest using a starter car. mine was a 2000 Toyota Corolla. crashed a few times, was able to drive off every single time. and IF IF I had an issue I could buy parts from a salvage yard for at most 100 bucks. but drifting with a front wheel drive is definitely challenging.

Everyone here excusing bad driving / errors is coping in the comments. There’s a difference with crashing at a high level of skill , or when tandeming, and a difference of just running out of skill.
