@notorious_foodie: Mango Sticky Rice, one of my favourite desserts of all time 🥭🇹🇭 - In this week’s article, I’ll be walking you through how to make mango sticky rice with a few little twists. It’s a very simple dessert that honestly doesn’t require too much messing around, but I wanted to add my own touch, because that’s what cooking is all about! Soft, fragrant rice, rich coconut cream and perfectly ripe mango - the balance of texture and sweetness is what makes this dish so damn addictive. In this version I use soak my glutinous rice in pandan leaf water before steaming, which gives the rice a really beautiful perfume. Once cooked, it’s soaked gently in a warm coconut cream infused with pandan and vanilla, so every grain becomes glossy, rich and lightly sweet. For the finishing sauce, i used the same cream base but melted in a little white chocolate at the end. It adds just enough body and sweetness to make the sauce feel luxurious without overpowering the coconut. This one’s special.
