As a Latina nurse, I’m trying to break the “nurses eat their young stigma.” I remember the kind of person I needed as a new nurse. And how I was hazed so badly. And I vowed that I would never stand by and see another new nurse get treated like that. I would be the nurse that I needed those first few years of career. I have many new nurses always asking for my feedback and it’s just as fulfilling to help my co-workers as it is to help my patients 🥰
