@consulting.connoisseur: The simple communication shift that changes how people perceive you. Most people speak in process. High performers speak in conclusions. That shift alone changes your perceived seniority. Here’s what I mean: Instead of saying: “I analysed the data, looked at 3 scenarios, and built a model…” Say: “The data suggests we should pursue Option B.” Lead with the answer. 1️⃣ Conclusion first Force yourself to state the outcome in one sentence. If you can’t summarise it clearly, the thinking isn’t ready. 2️⃣ Then the 2-3 supporting points Not everything you did. Just the drivers. “This is mainly driven by lower fixed costs and faster payback.” You’re signalling logic - not effort. 3️⃣ Close with a recommendation Be explicit. “I recommend we proceed with Option B and revisit in Q3.” No ambiguity. No “open to thoughts.” This shift does three things: • Makes you sound decisive • Reduces back-and-forth • Signals strategic thinking Process sounds junior. Clarity sounds senior. I’m Ahmed.
