For your first point, in my experience most buyers don't care about the aesthetics of the photo except lighting. They do however care about you taking photos of everything. Front, back, tags, close up of the fabric and other details, and any damage.

i just use old packaging from previous purchases and always double bag them so that the item is well protected. an old plastic bag works fine. my vinted is meelsbeth

And let me be clear: “VINTAGE” and “VINTAGE INSPIRED” are two completely different things and if you’re listing something vintage you better know the year it was produced. (Shien CANNOT be vintage)

The algorithm is so strange at the moment! I have a pretty consistent upload process, but whilst some items get views and sell quickly (rarely), others are getting 0-5 views. I upload everything between 6pm-9pm and on weekends, and I always send people offers when they like items but I think people are just straight away deleting them because they don’t even get seen. It’s so frustrating, I’m cleaning out my room and helping family get some extra finances and I just need stuff gone because I don’t have the space to store it all! I wish Vinted would sort itself outtttt

I have made over £100 on Vinted and I just use old boxes from work or bin bags or whatever I can. And my pictures are not great but it works. Honestly buying bags just to use to sell makes no sense. That just means the money you earn goes straight onto bags and that’s just a never ending cycle and you don’t rly make any money if keep doing that.
