@meditateandmagnify: What you don’t hear after we leave the room. The quiet prayers between patients. For wisdom. For compassion. For healing. For the moments when medicine alone isn’t enough. 🤍 #jesus #faith #medicine #doctors #catholic
Oncology RN here, my handwashing ritual is praying the Our Father while washing, Hail Mary while rinsing. Perfect amount of time to make sure it’s done right while asking for the Lord’s guidance and love as I care for my next patient.

It’s incredibly comforting having a doctor whose beliefs are the same as yours.

Love this. My daughter is Catholic and in her 3rd year of Medical School and definitely prays for the ones God gives her to help. Definitely seeing that most that care for the sick are doing so because of a calling.

When my mother coded at the hospital and was dying, I collapsed and my daughter held me saying the Hail Mary prayer. Most of the people in ICU started joining us in prayer, nurses, visitors, and staff. It was one of the most horrible days of my life and yet one of the most beautiful. 🙏❤️

This is so beautiful. 🙏🏻 My grandson had to have surgery and the surgeon came in and talk about the procedure, then asked if it was ok if he said a prayer. 🥰

Amen. Catholic nurse here. I was widowed at 25 when my first husband who was 39 had a massive heart attack right in front of me. My reason for living was gone. I’d cry at night begging God to tell me what to do now that my reason for living was gone. Every time I’d cry and pray I’d hear a whisper that said “become a nurse… become a nurse “ I’ve been a nurse almost 22 years now. When patients ask why I became a nurse I tell them the Lord spoke to me. Every day I pray a rosary for my patients and ask God to help me see Christ in everyone I come in contact with. And I remind myself that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ❤️Instant follow btw ❤️❤️
