I have distant lineage to Stonewall Jackson through my grandmother.

i like how you put both union and confederate generals in your videos, a lot of people don't put confederate generals out of fear because people seem to forget that the confederates were still americans

The house where Jackson passed is such an awful place to be. The house has no ac.

There's a good possibility that highways run over the spot where two of my favorite generals from the Trans-Mississippi theater died. Gen Lyon at Wilson's Creek and Benjamin McCulloch at Pea Ridge. I was unable to find a marker for McCulloch though.

Always sad about Sedgwick. He was a man who dedicated his life to the Army, knew his limitations, and was great to his men.

My ggg grandfather served in the civil war and has a ~26 page memoir he had his daughter (I think daughter I could be wrong) type while he was dying. His original handwritten notes got lost in a house fire unfortunately.

Do you think "like a stonewall" was meant as a compliment or because he did not help?

As a native of the Tar Heel State, I am indeed saddened it was my fellow North Carolinians whom led to the death of General Jackson. 😢
