It is so funny and sweet at the same time to hear Brits analysing our language hahaha Malaka is used honestly for anything and everything in both Greece and Cyprus, I call my best friend malaka all the time 😂 but I also call someone Malaka when I’m angry with them. Re is used on a friendly level or angry, again depends on context but is never used on formal situations because is rude. For example you can say to a friend «Ρε συ την είδες αυτή;» (=Re did you see that woman?) if you want to gossip for example 😂 Skase is again depending on context, you can playfully say it to a friend or angrily to someone but like Malaka, never in a formal setting. Cyprians are using a lot the “mou” indeed (=my) like “Kori mou” (=my girl (or my daughter if we translating literally)).
