@mementomikkie: In 1994 Judy Lewis, the secret daughter of Loretta Young and Clark Gable, wrote her memoir, "Uncommon Knowledge", which included the tragic details of not knowing her father. Her mother did not tell her Clark Gable was her father until after his death. Loretta Young and Clark Gable had an affair while filming the 1935 film, "Call of the Wild". To avoid a scandal (since Gable was married to another woman) Loretta Young pretended to adopt Judy publicly. Judy only met her father once but did not know he was her father at the time. Judy's book caused an estrangement between her and her mother but they were able to reconnect before Loretta's death in 2000. Judy Lewis passed away in 2011 she was 76.
