This one starts with a Navy attack pilot I got to know years ago. We started out just talking about old wheels, because that’s how most of my friendships begin..but over time we became real friends. Now he had this 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix, a big, beautiful piece of Detroit muscle from back when Pontiac was building cars that looked like they meant business. The plan was to restore it someday… you know how that goes. Life gets busy, things happen. Eventually he realized he wasn’t going to be able to finish the project.
