30-Minute Steak Fried Rice 🥩 🍚 Ingredients - 2 NY Strip steaks cut into 1/2 inch cubes - 5 tbsp soy sauce divided (2 tbsp for steak, 3 tbsp for rice) - 5 garlic cloves minced and divided (2 for steak, 3 for rice) - 4 cups cold jasmine rice cooked - 2 tbsp butter - 2 tbsp olive oil divided (1 tbsp for steak, 1 tbsp for eggs) - 1 carrot finely diced - 1/2 onion finely diced - 1 cup green peas - 3 eggs - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp white pepper - 2 tbsp sesame seeds - 4 scallions chopped - Yum yum sauce & ginger sauce for serving Instructions - Add beef, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 2 minced garlic cloves to a bowl and mix - Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over high heat - Add steak in a single layer and cook 2-3 minutes per side until lightly charred and remove - Melt 2 tbsp of butter in the same pan over medium-high heat - Add the remaining 3 minced garlic cloves, onions, carrots and peas and cook for 4-5 minutes until the onions are translucent - Add the cold jasmine rice to the pan and toss with the vegetables - Push the rice to the side and pour 1 tbsp of oil into the well and add eggs and scramble then mix in with the rice - Add 3 tbsp soy sauce, salt, white pepper and sesame seeds and mix well - Return the steak to the pan and mix until everything is hot and combined - Garnish with chopped scallions and serve with yum yum sauce and ginger sauce on the side #steak #friedrice #EasyRecipe #quickrecipes #DinnerIdeas
