@memphisjonez: Day 8 – Water Fast Update 💧🌴 Hey everyone, quick evening check-in from Tulum. Afternoon was solid. Energy was good, body felt lighter, and I could feel the progress. But evening hit hard. Super tough mentally. No real hunger pains, just intense temptations and cravings kicking in strong. Wanted to crack and eat so bad. It was all psychological, that voice saying just satisfy it. Pushed through, got a light workout in (nothing crazy), and overall still feeling really good physically. Probably capping this at 10 days total. Will hit that milestone, then reevaluate. The reset is working: inflammation down, clarity up, and that sense of who I am coming back strong. Quick science note for day 8: Ketosis remains deep and stable, fat-burning continues efficiently, autophagy is still high (cellular repair peaking), and growth hormone stays elevated to protect muscle. Mental challenges like tonight are common around this point. Ghrelin and dopamine pathways can flare up even without physical hunger as the brain adjusts to no food rewards. Pushing through strengthens the prefrontal cortex and weakens the craving loop. Grateful for the calm surroundings to ride these waves. Muuk’s new energy is helping too.
