As a knife maker, a stainless steel cutting board does another thing really well…. Blunt knives. There is not a steel on this planet that would hold up to repeated use on that. One of the first things I tell my clients is to get an epicurean cutting board.

if you're going to promote stainless steel cutting boards, then you need to do a PSA on the knives that can be used. because you can't just use any knives on that.

Nobody buy this. This is a great example of the wrong material for a job. If you want the shiny metal, try titanium and a premium knife sharpener.
