No jumping up because someone else owns my time. That might not sound like a big deal to some people. But when you’ve spent years being startled awake by an alarm, dragging yourself out of bed to serve systems that don’t even care if you’re happy… the ability to simply rest hits different. Peace is the real luxury. Freedom is the real flex. Laying in bed on a dreary day in paradise, listening to the rain, knowing my time belongs to me… that’s the life I chose.
