They are definitely great in the right applications. But I still question the durability of the tension locking system, only because I haven't heard anything from someone that has had extended time using them.

Absolutely not you cannot get them tight enough without compromising the integrity of the clamp. I’ve had them. I’ve done them. Do not whatsoever attempt to use these on any type of hose that is under pressure.
