Is this satire? A wedding is not about scale or production. I’m planning what you call a luxury wedding. I want the opposite of that. I want to take care of my guests because I want them to JOIN IN on my fun. If you hire a great venue, YOU DONT NEED A WEDDING PLANNER. High end venues will tell you what to do.

Social media is wonderful but it definitely has led clients to have unrealistic plans. There is amazing talent in all budget ranges but it’s sooo important that as vendors we’re sharing information to help people learn what is realistic so that there isn’t extra work happening on both ends!!!

When our daughter got engaged we had to figure out what a wedding cost. Most people have zero idea the actual cost of everything. Some people might be early in their planning and don’t have realistic ideas. FYI we doubled what we had discussed before her engagement. My biggest surprise was how much table settings cost.

I put luxury photos into chatgpt snd asked it to help ne recreate the look using my budget. I'm absolutely not delusional about my very tiny budget. it turned out amazing and my poor eyes had no idea if it didn't look luxury or not, I just enjoyed the day that MY budget could provide!
