He's been mowing for years and with this particular mower for about 10 years. He knows this mower. Almost all of your tips and advice he is aware of. Its not the bag, we have that. There is no side chute in this model, but could order a chute attachment if we wanted to. Lowering the shield when its this long causes it to struggle and stall. Even half way, it struggles. This is a one off because we ignored it for two weeks, so he didn't care to come up with a solution. He started out walking to the side of the mower but was still getting hit some, so he said f*k it. Yes, we know to mow more often. Life gets busy. Yes, mulch mode will work on shorter grass and that is what we do. Raising it and cutting twice or 3 times will just take forever, you only see 15% of the lawn we have in this video and he is mowing the neighbors lawn while they are on vacation for 2 months, so not spending more time than needed. Even when short, we don't use the bag as it fills like 10 times and just no.... No, the grass is not wet. This was 6pm after many days without rain. This was as dry as it would get. When grass is this long and thick, it is moist on the inside. Yes, we know what YouTube is. We renovated our entire home and converted an old empty ambulance box to a towable camping trailer with the help of youtube. I'm not 100% sure exactly what it is that is wrong with it and causing a loss of power, but if it was an easy fix, he would have done it by now. We replaced the blade last fall. Not buying a new cheap crappy $200 mower. This one wasn't cheap and we would rather spend $200 on fixing this one and have it for many more years. And lastly....
