If y'all are mainly staying in Seoul I recommend the climate card a 100% unlimited trips for buses, subway and I think train too for the days that you pay

Apple pay only works if a shop accepts international Credit Cards. It has nothing to do with being European or not, simply if the shop‘s accept the type of cards you have linked to Apple Pay

as someone in seoul right now, I think another thing people should know is most restaurants take a break between 2-5pm so most restaurants are closed. only cafes and fast food are open
