Tik also helped me realize what I have. I always just thought I had my grandmas body.. hippy.. since I was a teenager. This whole time it’s been lipedema. Now I’m entering perimenopause .. fun times!

My doctor didn't believe me that I had it for ages despite pics and showing my arms, ankles and pics. I finally was like, "Respectfully, you haven't seen me fully undressed." Was diagnosed on the spot 😭 We need way more awareness

I’ve always known i had lipedema since the second i found out about it, but I’ve been ignoring it and pretending i don’t 😭 for some reason I’ve always been able to gaslight myself like “no no, what you have is different and unique and you don’t need to know anything else about it”

Girl I just spent an hour on a lipadema rabbit hole just to find out I have stage 2/3 and seeing for the 1st time a body like mine and realising I HAVE IT all this years. No matter how much weigh i loose. Thank you.
