I love Nadine but a huge plot point is she is so focused on her own pain that she misses everyone else's. It is not okay to make people choose and give them ultimatums and she totally missed that her friend had a crush on her brother for a while. She also had no empathy for her brother or mother. I truly understand why she got stuck in that headspace when her father was the only one who understood her but it's selfish nonetheless. I feel like everyone is missing a huge point of this movie and her character. Even when she meets Erwin she is completely lost in her own world and ends up hurting him without trying to. You can't move through life judging everyone and wallowing in self pity and not become selfish. She absolutely was not being fair to anyone around her.
