I'm a philologist. If everyone tells you they learned a language in two weeks, that person is lying to you. He is lying.

as a person who taught myself a whole different language in compare to english or my mother’s I WANT TO SAY - IF YOU ARE NOT SOCIABLE AND SCARED TO TALK WITH PEOPLE ONLINE JUST PREPARE 5 topics and talk about them to the camera 20-60 minutes a day - your pronouncation will get so much better

that’s exactly the method bro, one more tip I would add is don’t just study words and their translation, instead learn a word and create 5 sentences for it so you also learn the context it is used in at the same time. Make sure you say those sentences out loud too since it practices your mouth muscle memory. Your brain memorises words in sentences (and their correct contexts) way easier than just their translations. Focus on like 20 new words every day and make sure to actively recall them using a spaced repetition app like anki (free via the browser). Next to that just immerse yourself by watching/ listening to a lot of content in your target language like cartoons, TikToks, music, podcasts, …

I also heard a polyglot say that there's usually one or two movies we all know like the back of our hands. You can damn near quote line for line. Watch those in the language you want to speak. Same idea as the podcasts but this is something you're already familiar with.

1. write 100words of a 1k common list every day for five days
2. memorising 20 words of the 100 words of the day
3. comprehensive input everyday
4. podcast every day
5. hello talk for at least 10min
6. when im able to have casual conversation then grammar
for vocabs do i just keep writing 100words a day until im done with the 1k-2k list? or do i stop when im done learning them?. (I speak 4 languages and learned them naturally. I want to learn dutch but for some reasons im a bit scared to start)

For my introverts: 1. Rewatch your favorite show in your the language for comprehensible input 2 shadow your favorite scenes ( follow along as they speak) 3. Write useable PHRASES not single words into flashcards 4. Record yourself in your memo apps for 5 minutes everyday speaking on whatever you want ( increase time later) 5. bonus: print out an article in that language, translate any new words, and read it outloud. I learned Spanish by doing this and takes me only an hour. I also narrate my day. Ex: I am going to the bathroom, I will say that in Spanish as I’m going to the bathroom.

Thanks for sharing what works for you and certainly worth a try. If it works great, if it doesn’t oh well. You aren’t trying to sell a language course - I don’t understand the blow back.

When you learn Japanese, you first need to learn the 2 alphabets (Hiragana, Katakana) and Kanji, to actually be able to write the 2000 most common words. Two weeks is just not true.
