@jeremystoomuch: 🤭 It’s called “pancaking” a braid and it’s how you get those big fluffy Pinterest braids instead of the sad skinny ones so I f your braid always gets weird gaps when you try to pull it apart… this is the missing step: ① Braid the hair first and hold the tail firmly so the braid doesn’t loosen while you work. ② Sprinkle texture powder over the braid. This gives the hair grip so it actually pulls apart evenly. ③ Use your fingers to gently pull the outer edges of each section. Think widen, not yank. ④ Work your way up the braid slowly on both sides so it stays balanced. ⑤ Go back and adjust the shape by pinching the hair and pulling softly out until the braid looks soft and full. 💟 That fluffy bridal braid look is literally just grip + technique and texture powder makes it 10x easier. (It’s also how those sky high cheer ponies stay so structured. 🤫) ✨SAVE AND SHARE if you’ve ever tried to pancake a braid and it came out looking like a messsssss because it might come in handy later!!! 😁 #braiding #braid #hairtutorial #hairtips #texturepowder
