I’m not sure if you already mentioned this, but how spicy is the series? I’m not a huge fan of spice or s*xual tension but if it’s not a lot or if it’s a couple of chapters that I can skip, I’ll still consider reading the book.

Kimberly, I totally agree that the first chapter felt “made for TV.” But what about the end of Book 1? When Lara declares her rank, reminds them exactly what she brings to the table, and then throws her dagger into the map—I swear I could *hear* it: **DINNNNGGG.** Truly cinematic. An absolute chef’s kiss of an ending!

I quite liked the first 2 books but the third was pretty bad and I only just managed to get through it. Ending was 🙄 It's not great compared to most Romantacy books I've read.
