When I quit, I thought they were gonna beg me to stay. I had worked so hard for five years. They gave me a hug and said how quickly will you be cleaned out of your room so we can post the job.

I’m a social worker and this happened to my older coworker. I was floored but learned that we are replaceable. There is a freedom in disconnecting from work

Or the teacher who was sadly unalived here in Georgia…the news had an advocacy group calling for the students charges to be dropped on tv..and was only like “damn rip” to the EDUCATOR who senselessly lost his life. It’s sick 😭
