I do this with my German Shepard and it’s actually helped no end with taking him to the vet in particular for me, the staff let us do the same exercise in the clinic room and he’s much less nervous/not peeing everywhere anymore 🥹

Could you help me with this? My dobbie is extremely ball obsessed. Weve managed to get to a point where i can say sit or down and drop the ball or even throw it and he will stay put and look at me and wait to be released but aside from that he struggles with disengaging once he has the ball

I am so glad that there are other malies obsessed with the ball. I sometimes don't even need treats to get some training as there seem to be more done when I use ball as a reward 😂😂

Please I need your advice. I have a Dutch Shepherd who is not really interested in treats OR toys, how can I train him? He is otherwise a quick learner (or rather was when he was younger and more interested in treats) but I’m at my wits end.

I need to do this with our boy he is ball obsessed he can spot a ball from over two fields away and engage the target within seconds from there usually before the dog has even thought of pursuing it
