Night nurse for babies! Parents will pay very good money for nurses to watch their baby overnight while they sleep, you get to sleep when the baby sleeps. I'm not a nurse and even I can make $30 an hour minimum. Nurses could charge $40/$50 hourly easily.

I’m an insurance nurse working from home just reading charts all day in my jammies watching TV. I do not talk to patients. I do not talk to families. I do not talk to doctors. I still use my critical thinking every single day. My experience at the bedside has only helped me in this job. But I do not have to do it at the bedside anymore. I’m NEVERRRRRRRRR going back.

my biggest pet peeve is that my whole first semester of nursing school, they told us that we HAD to work at least 2 years in med surg to be able to go anywhere…… that is the farthest thing from true

My university DID have a mandatory class for this! And all our clinicals focused on different areas of nursing (psych facilities, schools, nursing homes as well as hospitals)! University of Portland!

You can also be a clinical instructor for nursing students. They don’t do much of anything but make sure students are following rules while with their nurse preceptors.
