Having struggled with dyshidrotic eczema for 2 years, here is my advice for chronic cases (based on personal experience, but consult your dermatologist first!): The only thing that truly helped was a Flosteron injection (betamethasone dipropionate + sodium phosphate). For topical treatment, use Elocom ointment (mometasone furoate 0.1%) with this schedule: First 7 days: Morning & evening. Next 7 days: Only in the evening. Last 7 days: Every second day. Protection is key: wear white cotton gloves under nitrile gloves when using detergents. For washing, use Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil, and after every hand wetting, apply Uriage Hand Cream. The eczema will clear up, but it is crucial to continue moisturizing your hands regularly. Also, make sure to do a Patch Test after the summer to identify the specific allergen. This routine will calm your skin. Good luck! 🍀

Tried all this and was still so itchy! Finally went to a dermatologist and my medicated cream is a dream! It pops up every few months and I just put my cream on 2-3 nights in a row and I’m good again for a few months!

currently my daughter is suffering dyshidrotic including her feet and hands.. I'm using aveeno skin relief lotion, aveeno dermexa and Shisiedo urea lotion.. Even tried elica cream..

I started getting these and have to use nitrile gloves every day all 8 hours and it’s hot and my hands get sweaty…what other kind of gloves can I use? Definitely don’t like latex
