Pretty dead on. I’ve had this conversation with my wife. She felt me pulling away and thought I was simply losing feelings for her. But that wasn’t it at all. I just can’t handle rejection well. And when she’s not in the mood constantly, I felt worthless. And so I find it hard to connect.

I have found that when I give flowers, leave little notes, make coffee or pack lunch. Do cute little signs of affection, I get less spicy time. It’s like it makes it ok to turn it down. If I do nothing, that’s when something happens. It’s all a mind f@ck. Welcome to marriage, unfortunately!
