I miss the days when I use to go to the local record store to pick up my concert tickets. Those days the service fees were $3.50. I paid more to go to a movie last weekend than what I paid to see Ozzy with Metallica opening in the 80’s.

They did. I went to see the cure in London at the Troxy last year and it’s sold out in 30 seconds. I clicked the button exactly at 10 am. It showed me the ticket number selector . I pressed two , the n Apple Pay and I had tickets. That took about five seconds . You gotta have Apple Pay ready too. You can’t even be putting your card details in. You get in you press a button and you get your tickets. that is all.

Been there. The boys and corporate sponsors buying out the majority of tickets is sickening. I used to go to concerts at least once a month. Now, with the insane prices and impossible to get tickets... been to three since the pandemic ended. And it's worse knowing this is where the majority of the artist's income comes from, concerts and merch. It's an absolute no win situation.
