spend a rainy afternoon making mini egg brownies with me 🌦️🌈🐣🪺🌷 a rainy march afternoon calls for two things: baking & harry styles’ new album ofc !!! today I decided to combine mini egg easter nests and brownies (which I convinced myself I invented but I know it’s not an original idea lol) which are my two favourite things to make 🐣🪺🌷 I completely made up the recipe as I went along but here is my go-to brownie recipe which I’ve also done a video on WAY back when if anyone wants to see the step by step process (just adjust the measurements as you see fit): ⭐️ 200g dark chocolate ⭐️ 200g butter ⭐️ 3 eggs ⭐️ 280g sugar ⭐️ 90g plain flour ⭐️ 50g cocoa powder (bake at 180*C for 20-25 minutes) after years of perfecting the fudgy brownie here are my top tips: ⭐️ underbake the brownies by about 5 minutes (you want them to be solid but still have a little jiggle to them) ⭐️ once cool enough, put the brownies in the fridge for a few hours or overnight (this will allow them to be solid but still fudgy) ⭐️ *optional* use gluten free flour (I’ve found it makes the brownies a lot more fudgy and also you can give them to your gluten free friends so it’s a win win!!!!) just the perfect afternoon activity in the lead up to easter and got me off my phone!!!! #afternoonvlog #bakingtherapy #easternests #minieggbrownies #cozyathome Cosy baking vlog Baking brownies vlog Cosy afternoon vlog - @libby_mercer
