@alycatxo1: Posting for any other moms like me scrolling TikTok to see if their child is having retractions. I am a nurse and still second guess myself sometimes. I noticed what appeared to be increased work of breathing in my 6 year old the other night. Tracheal tugging, retractions, nasal flaring. Took him to the ED where we were sent home but he unfortunately got worse. Took him back in after he started grunting while breathing and he was given two breathing treatments and steroids.
