I remember entirely unconvinced that Israel possess ANY nuclear weapons whatsoever. Please consider the evidence. 1. The bulk of the evidence is unproven claims by the UK, USA and Israeli intel and military services, the very people most incentivised to lie 2. The only external verification comes from the east german military intel before reunification, which itself came from the US as unsubstantiated claims which the stasti refused to believe. 3. Every single nuclear power in the world has tested its weapons and those tests are detectable independently across the globe as seismic activity and radiological activity via CTBTO, and many of these tests despite decades having passed can still be detected. The only apparent nuclear power this is not true for is Israel where no such test data exists 4. Every single nuclear power declares their arsenal because the utility in the arsenal is in declaration as a means of deterrence, except Israel who remains the only such country to be ambiguous which importantly serves no strategic purpose. Ambiguity does hold strategic purpose if you don't hold has such weapons however 5. The 1979 Vela capture was debunked by the Ruina Panel who concluded it was "probably not" a nuclear test. Panel member Richard Muller later stated the actual panel view was "as close to zero as it gets" for a nuclear event, and that "probably not" was diplomatic language. There is no radiological evidence at the site. 6. Mordechai Vanunu was Israeli intel, his photo came as a release through MI6, and his apparent trial was sealed and his imprisonment unverified outside of Mossad. 7. No gulf state, nor Russia nor China have ever made claims about holding intel on Israeli nukes 8. Trump said yesterday they would move 8 nuclear warheads to Israel and we saw footage of them being transported in convoy, not something necessary for a country with their own arsenal. I'm not saying they absolutely don't have any, I do not know. What I am saying is I have seen no objective evidence to suggest they do and have no reason to believe arbitrary numbers on arsenal size.
