I still remember being in middle school and a Chinese american girl who I thought was my friend stood by and laughed while a white boy called me the n word repeatedly. She grinned and turned to him and said "I know". I learned my lesson.

As a Latina while we definitely get impacted I can’t deny there is so my much anti blackness and anti indigenous mindset in my community, none of us are entitled to asking for the black communities help and I hope I can do my part in standing up for your community. I have to keep explaining to my community cops aren’t any different and even started off as slave patrol and the prison industrial complex impacts the black community primarily. The obsession to whiteness is frustrating and while I still want to advocate for my own community none of this is possible without black and indigenous liberation
