I love the location of this resort; the food was delicious 😋 the staff were very friendly; if you tip the mini bar guy and leave a note in spanish they will bring you lots of snacks eg crisps and nuts and drinks. The beach 🏝️was like paradise, the best beach Ive seen in any country by far. The thing I did have a problem with was the room. It’s a bit 🤏🏾 weathered and showing its age. But the really problem was the pillows. They smelt funny so we took the pillow cases off and they were dirty and musty as hell 😩 the room had a funny drain smell at times as well. For anyone booking a future holiday and wanting a brand new hotel, check out lopesan serenity, they are building three new hotels, I can’t remember what the other two are called. They have just opened in May. They are built on the same site as lopesan costa bavaro. Still a beautiful beach, not as fabulous as the beach 🏝️at Royalton bavaro, but it will be brand new. I stayed at the lopesan costa bavaro and that was nice. So I know the new hotels will be fab.
