I’m Orthodox but I see the appeal of celibate priests like in the latin rite. I’ve been in two parishes in my life and first had an unmarried priest who was just more attentive to his flock. Now I sometimes wait a week for an email reply with my first I remember at times exchanging emails past midnight.
