Why is this normal pricing in your country? Your kitchen is tiny based on that ikea mockup. We paid a few grand for custom cabinets and it included the install which took 1 guy a few hours to do alone. Our kitchen is also quite a bit bigger. I can't fathom paying that price for cabinets.

What would it have cost you to buy the cabinets from IKEA? I bought an IKEA kitchen (bigger than the one you showed) for under $4000. And it included the sink, oven, cooktop and rangehood for that price.

We got our kitchens by a company that buys from China. and they are such good quality! he's now finally retired and we are doing a big renovation and I want change rhe layout of the kitchen so not sure where he bought through. who did you go through?

@koalagainz: 20-60k is a supply and install price. 11k from IKEA is your supply price. All options with insurance and warranties. 3k from China is a supply price only. Now imagine installing it (with no tool expertise), and on top, IF something is wrong. You’re cooked, and the finished result more than likely a tad out of whack. If you’re looking for resale value, you lose out because most people see a cheap job, to a good job.

The difference between the 60k and the 3k kitchens will be very obvious in a few years time. You’ll need pro help to install; joiner, plumber, sparkie plus a surveyor and council approval. It all adds up real fast

I learnt how to make cabinets for our reno, and as someone else has said, don't skimp on your hinges. And drawer runners. Full extension runners are the bees knees.

So excited to see. I’ve ordered heaps for the house on Ali express. Best purchase so far was custom honeycomb blinds that are both sheer and black out. Was quoted at least a grand for one window and was like less than 300 from China. And I think the quality is better than the ones we ordered in Australia for other window

you can buy whole kitchen cabinets from auctions and pay a tradie to install it, a bit cheaper that way .
