If you flip the teflon but still wrap the same way, it creates more tension and is easier to wrap

Your spinning your tape off the reel backwards easier to keep tension on the tape when holding the reel the other way

Wrap the tape the SAME direction the fitting tightens (clockwise 99% of the time). If it unravels while tightening, you wrapped it backwards 👍 Follow for more quick homeowner tool tips and fixes 🔧

Flip your tape roll bud, it will be nice and tite, also exposing the first few threads
