Why wouldn’t you want a company to be more accessible? Why wouldn’t a company want to grow and get bigger? It’s strange to say another one bites the dust

What I don’t get about there video is like, it’s shampoo and conditioner and styling products . Like stylist shouldn’t be gate keeping hair products?!?

I do like salon interactive however I really need them to get a wider variety of products I have quite a few brands I would love to put on mine but any of the distributor’s in my area don’t cart them to sell or they do in store but don’t online I’m still going to keep it but I just wish there was more

I was a stylist for 10ish years and I still have the opinion- selling product is EXTRA income and should not be your MAIN source of income. If you’re relying too much on product sales, you don’t have enough clients. Products should be accessible for your clients so that they are used and it makes your job easier.

Also, let’s be honest, a lot of us no longer trust the products recommended in the salons either because we just think you’re trying to get more money out of us. Giving me a list of things to buy and then a link to Amazon to buy it, there is a 99% chance I will buy it, both because its accessible and because we want you to get that commission. I will also keep that link and use it for all future restocks instead of going hunting for it in random places for cheap. I don’t know why it’s being seen as a bad thing.

I feel like salons were very retail focused to make money? Individuals carrying product? Literally such a pain in the ass! I agree with you. As long as they get the real product, I’m happy!

I’m not a cosmo. But I am an estie and own a wax studio. The brand I used to sell for homecare is now available on amazing, at Target and ulta. Now that wouldn’t be a problem, expect as soon as they started selling in stores and no longer from licensed professionals, the quality went down. They changed ingredients and it was no longer working to prevent ingrowns. And that’s why I switched brands. I have no problem it being in stores, but lessening the quality of the product because it’s no longer a professional only brand is what drives me crazy

I don’t keep retail on my shelves anymore, I have an Amazon storefront and just like you said, I send my link even when clients are in my chair in that moment. So easy!

Consumer habits are changing rapidly and brands are finally becoming aware and changing accordingly. That’s not a bad thing!

As a licensed skin therapist, I totally agree with you. I carry retail but there is no way I can carry the entire Dermalogica skin line, especially as a small suite owner. And they still get great skincare

Exactly, I rather have them get products that are real and not fake in store that I know the product is real.

I’m curious about your view point on the stylists that are upset about Kevin Murphy coming to salon centrics

Do you have a video on how to set up an Amazon storefront for our clients? I have Salon Interactive but some things I live and recommend aren't on there

i don't understand, it means, i dont have to buy inventory, i dont have to go to the store, clients can get it at their convenience... and I can focus on HAIR.

both the retail lines my salon carries are only available in salons or from stylists and it scares me so much thinking about my clients buying stuff from amazon thinking they’re getting a deal!
